Invest in a child’s life today by scattering seeds of hope for a brighter future to children living in poverty stricken communities in the Philippines.

Seeds of Learning

This is the primary program of CSSOH, which offers the opportunity for children from poverty-stricken families to enjoy free basic Christian education. Qualified

children who exhibit aptitude and potential to excel in their studies are selected and supported by international and local donors.

We are educating an average of 120 students per year.

Currently, Word International Schools (WIS) are operating at the following locations: Cainta, Rizal; Camiling, Tarlac; Cagayan; Iloilo & Cadiz in Visayas, Malaybalay & Davao in Mindanao.

Seeds of Nourishment

Aside from meeting the children’s educational needs, CSSOH addresses their nutritional needs, too.

Our various feeding stations (Vitas, Manila; Dagupan, Baguio, Marinduque and Bayawan, Negros Oriental) exists and continue to be in operation because of the contributions of our affiliate churches around the world and because of the hard work of our faithful volunteer.

The other agenda for this feeding program is a values-formation program taught to the children.

Seeds of Joy

This special program focuses on celebrating Christmas. Since most indigent families are unable to enjoy and appreciate this important event due to financial limitations, CSSOH turned this into an opportune occasion to inspire happiness as well as strengthen family bonds.

This program is embodied in the annual event called “Pamaskong Handog ni Jesus” (Christmas Gift from Jesus) which is composed of fun learning activities wherein both children and parent can participate, and a brief session for values formation.

Participants also receive gifts and snacks during the event. It is also a chance for the children to showcase their skills and talents, and build confidence in them.

Seeds of Growth

In order for CSSOH to maintain the quality of its programs, we provide continuing education or seminar trainings to our teachers and volunteer workers and upgrade school facilities and equipment to uphold the standard of excellence in education, health and safety.
